Rita A. Sherman, 91, former Shelby resident, died Sunday July 14, 2013 at Evangelical Home in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Born February 16, 1922 in Oil City, PA to Jay F. and Anna B. (Doutaz ) Sherman she had been a Shelby resident since 1940 moving to Sterling Heights, Michigan in 2012. A 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School, she was employed with the Shelby Cycle Company and later retired from the Autocall Company.
