Assad passed away in June 2013.
Assad was a resident of Garden City, Michigan at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his wife Judith.
Visitation Friday 2-8pm at the Fred Wood Funeral Home, 36100 Five Mile Rd., Livonia (East of Levan). Funeral service Saturday 10:30am at Fred Wood Funeral Home.
Family suggests memorials to the American Kidney Foundation or Dingle VA Medical Center.
